BIOGRAPHY |
James Wilhelmi has just
completed his first season as an assistant coach on the
men's basketball staff. Wilhelmi played an integral role
in the team's success this past season.
He has also been instrumental in the Bison's outstanding
incoming recruiting class.
Wilhelmi came to Howard after serving as an assistant
coach at Salisbury University in 2004-05. Prior to that
tenure, he served as head boys' basketball coach at
Sussex Central High School in Georgetown, DE from 2003
to 2004.
He has also served as an assistant at the University of
Evansville from 2002-2003; at Texas Southern University
from 2001 to 2002; at the University of Maryland Eastern
Shore from 2000 to 2001; at Hampton University from 1998
to 2000; at Northeast Illinois from 1997 to 1998; and at
University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for two years.
Wilhelmi's duties include assisting with game
preparation, administrative responsibilities and
recruiting.
